Where will you ride? At Bikeparks South Africa our mission is to take the hassle out of researching destinations, bike parks and operators. Our Test Crew have decades of biking experience between them and include active trail builders, who give you their honest feedback, so you can relax and enjoy the ride. Don’t know if you should go there on holiday or how good a bike park is? Don't stress, we worry about the science so you can worry about the fun.

Ethos

We are not interested in posting hundreds of vague out of date reviews on trails that might or might not be good.  We will only post a review if one of our test crew has ridden the trail and is able to give an objective opinion. Consider us the SABS of Mountain Bike Lifestyle.  All trails are reviewed using our balanced score card, which tells you exactly what we liked and disliked and takes the guess work out of what's good and what's not.

Advertising and sponsors will not influence us. Before we rate a destination or enter into a relationship we make it clear that companies need to accept our opinion good or bad! Our dedicated test crew “try and trash” places, bikes and kit to give your their honest and independent feedback.

We never announce our visits to bikeparks, so we arrive as an anonymous rider, not allowing the park manager to whip around a tidy up before we arrive, giving a true reflection of what you could expect during your visit.

When we visit a bike park we look at the lifestyle of mountain biking.  This translates into a very simple question, “did we all have fun” and we're not just talking about the riding, as the whole experience counts!
